Sales & Commercial Director

Essilor is recruiting a Sales & Commercial Director to be based in Luanda, Angola.
Duties
- The Sales & Commercial Director will support the Business and translate the company’s strategy into a commercial strategy targeting the right market and be accountable for leading, growing and maintaining sales activities in the Angola region
- Develop an excellent business rapport with customers to generate new business and opportunity
- Manage all the Potential number of customers in achieving the objectives in term of sales volume or sales value, credit control, and productivity and targets defined
- Achieve of monthly sales targets, in total and by category
- Develop commercial relations and rapport with customers
- Manage timely all orders, collections and damage reports
- Ensure product range distributions is maximize, with a rationalization for each customer
- Deliver timely commercial communication at customer/ store level (e.g. new prices, C&F procedures)
- Act as a key contact between a company and its existing and potential markets and maintain relationships with existing customers through meetings, telephone calls and e-mails
- Negotiate the terms of an agreement and closing sale
- Represent the organization at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations
- Discuss variations in price, delivery specifications and future buying trends with the MD
- Prepare accurate, rapid cost calculations, and provide customers with quotations
- Provide input on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions plans
- Gain a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements
- Identify prospective customers
- Monitor market conditions, competitors’ products, prices, and sales
Requisites
- Excellent understanding of pricing strategies and pricing mechanisms
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Good with people management & team management
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
- Must be a results-oriented commercial professional
- Well-developed business sense (Business Acumen)
- Must be fully fluent in English and Portuguese.
- Bachelors/Masters Degree
- 5-10 Years’ Experience in the related field
