Eni is recruiting a Senior Contract Administrator, to be based in Luanda, Angola.

Duties

  • Providing effective and efficient support of contract administration, including all pre and pro contract award activities
  • Checking if all contractual transactions and tasks are carried out in compliance with the contract’s terms and conditions (scope of work, results, schedule, etc.)
  • Ensuring contract status reports and update in a timely manner in all contractual aspects, including regular feedbacks
  • Ensuring that all contract aspects are met in an auditable way and cost, schedule and HSE risks are minimized
  • Providing contractual and commercial advice to contract managers
  • Assisting contract managers in tax, insurance, guarantees issues, etc. and interacting with the relevant supporting functions (Procurement, Finance, Law)
  • Administrating and keeping records of all correspondence, meetings, actions and decisions regarding the contract
  • When applicable, participating in the delivery meeting with C & P and checking the compliance of contract documents
  • Coordinating and maintaining the record of contractual and commercial issues
  • Preparing correspondence to contractors in the important contractual/commercial routine, for the signing of the contract holder
  • Reviewing the correspondence of contractors and monitoring and rushing response times by the company
  • Meetings with contractors in which contractual/commercial issues may be discussed
  • Ensuring that all necessary guarantees, insurances and tax certificates have been received from contractor
  • Timely monitoring applicability of liquidated damages/sanctions in accordance with the contract terms
  • Monitoring, controlling and maintaining the record of the actual contract expenses against the ACV
  • Assisting the contract manager in the contract termination process and consolidating the support documentation

Requisites

  • Good level of English and Portuguese
  • Advanced knowledge of the contract management process
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to respond to common questions or complaints
  • Good knowledge of management
  • Good knowledge of planning and control
  • Good knowledge of budgeting and analysis cost
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management
  • Education at graduate level or higher in Economy, Management, Law or Finance
  • 8-year work experience in contract administration, of which at least 5 in the oil industry
