Duties
  • To assist the Client in meeting project requirements and performing all technical duties in a highly competent and efficient manner
  • Based on clients office working with a multi-discipline international team
  • Able to work autonomously and integrate in a seamless manner with the client team
  • Support and develop local designers as and when required
  • Prepare and develop AFC Isometrics and Pipe supports and other minor deliverables in support of the offshore work packs
  • Offshore surveys will be by others but liaison required
  • Ad Hoc offshore visits may be required to support the project
  • Overall responsibility for the delivery of multi-discipline and or single discipline engineering modifications/project scope of works within a contract or a project
  • Manage the defined scopes of work provided by the contact/project management team ensuring that the discipline scopes of work are fully defined and in accordance with the client’s requirements
  • Liaise with other disciplines on design, construction, fabrication and commissioning issue

Requisites

  • Educated to HNC/HND level in an engineering discipline
  • Sound working knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards
  • Conversant with appropriate technical software
  • Aware of the latest technical developments
  • Current Offshore Survival Certificate and Medical preferred
  • Ability to direct and guide other designers
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Good team working skills
