Instrument Calibration Laboratory Technician

• Receipt and dispatch of items for calibration in the Lab;

• Performance of instrument calibrations in the Lab;
• Daily involvement and assistance with lab calibration operations.
• Cleanliness of Lab;
• Maintenance of stock levels;
• Communicate with Calibrations Coordinator and Operations Manager on all lab planning and co-ordination;
• Partake in internal and external audit requirements.
• Disseminate and promote compliance with the requirements of the Integrated Management System, including safety rules;
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes.

• High School Certificate or Technical College equivalent;
• Course certificates for relevant calibration training;
• Ability to operate calibration laboratory equipment;
• Competency in measurement of uncertainty in respect of calibration laboratory equipment;
• 3-5 years’ experience in instrument calibration.

• Good effective communication skills;
• Attention to detail;
• Organizational skills;
• Analytical & problem solving;
• Computer literate;
• Fluency in Portuguese and English;
• Angolan citizen.
