Accounting Technician

Our client is a multinational industrial processing, distribution, and services company with a focus on: Industrial Equipment and Services and Consumer Industries. Currently is looking for a professional for the position of Accounting Technician.

Location: Luanda

Requirements:

University degree in Finance/Accounting or Professional Accounting degree;
Minimum of 3 years of experience in supervisory role;
SAP knowledge (preferred);
Fluent in English and Portuguese;

OPCA Certified accountant;
Work experience in a reputable consulting firm (Big 4 preferred).

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of bi-monthly cash forecast and reconciliation to expected cash flow;
Completion of the monthly management accounts;
Day-to-day management of financial team;
Review and sign off of monthly balance sheet recons;
Preparation of monthly balance sheet recons;
Involvement and support during the interim and annual year end returns;
Review and follow up of the monthly results for the business unit;
Carry out the annual fixed asset verification, assist with the review and control over Capex spending.
