IT Architecture Technician

Job Summary

Guide the process of planning and designing the IT capabilities of an enterprise in order to meet desired organizational objectives.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Support his direct superior in Building and integrating information systems to meet the company’s needs.
• Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it.
• Resolving technical problems as they arise.
• Support his direct superior in preparing and implementing technical standards for information technology projects implementation following Company strategy.
• Supervise with information technology project and project teams to ensure any new project will align with company overall enterprise architecture strategy.
• Continuously propose though research and interaction with service companies emerging technologies standards as well as proposing it’s implementation whenever applicable.
• Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented.
• Support his direct supervisor in advising IT Management about the impact of any technical business decision of implementing/dismissing any information technological project/service.
• Providing updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related field of Information Systems Technology with 5-years working experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design.
• Proven experience in Networking Architecture (preferably Cisco).
• Knowledge in IT Project Management.
• Sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases.
• Computer knowledge from user’s point of view.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator
• Microsoft Certified: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions.
• In-depth understanding of coding languages (Java, JavaScript).
• Solution Architect certification (Azure, Cisco, similar)
